Terms of service

1. Who provides the service
Translate24 LLC, a Washington limited liability company, United States (UBI 606 295 490), with its principal office in Seattle, Washington (“Translate24”, “we”). Contact: service@translate24.io.
2. The service
We translate documents from Spanish into English and deliver a certified translation: the complete translation together with the translator’s signed statement of competence and accuracy. The translation and certification are performed by an official translator from our partner Success Communications Service (Colombia).
We deliver one PDF per document, usually in about 24 hours from payment. This is an estimate, not a guarantee.
Final acceptance of any document depends on the receiving institution (for example USCIS, a university or a bank). We do not control their decisions or guarantee the outcome of your process.
3. Price and payment
The price is $19.99 USD per page of the original document you send us, with no word counting. Pages are counted from the file you upload and the total is shown before you pay. For ID cards, licenses and similar cards, if you choose “Card: front and back”, both sides are placed on a single page and charged as one.
Translation starts once payment is confirmed.
4. Refunds
Because translation starts immediately after payment, there are no refunds once an order is paid, except in these cases:
- Illegible or untranslatable document. We first ask you for a better version. If that is not possible, we refund that document.
- Translation error. We correct it at no cost (section 5). If it cannot be corrected, we refund that document.
5. Corrections
You have 15 days from the first time you download a document to review it and ask us for corrections or adjustments, at no cost. Email service@translate24.io with the document code. We usually deliver the correction the same business day.
After that period:
- Translation errors (a difference from the original in names, dates, numbers or content): we still correct them at no cost while we keep your document (4 months from delivery).
- Style or personal-preference changes: cost 50% of the document's per-page price.
A certified translation is faithful to the original: we translate exactly what it says, without adding or omitting information. If the original contains an incorrect detail, the translation reflects it as is; correcting it is up to the institution that issued the document.
5a. Verification
The translation carries the translator’s verification QR code, which works online for 4 months from issuance. After that, the receiving institution can request verification directly at service@translate24.io. We recommend downloading and keeping your PDF.
6. Your obligations
- Send legitimate, complete and legible documents that you are entitled to have translated.
- Provide a correct email address: we send the private link to your order there.
- Keep that link safe: anyone who has it can see the order status and download the translations.
7. Physical copy
If you need a physical copy, please email us and we will gladly arrange shipping right away.
8. Liability
Our total liability to you for any claim related to an order does not exceed the amount you paid for that order. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute not resolved directly with us will be submitted to the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Paid orders are governed by the terms in force at the time of payment.
